Process Description

  1. Empty bottles (or other containers) are transported via a conveyor belt to the starwheel. At the infeed, there is a presence sensor for the vials. The first station is the filling station. The machine can be equipped with 1 to 6 filling stations. Peristaltic pumps are used for filling. Other types of dosing systems are also available (lobe pumps, flow meters, etc.).
  2. The next step after filling is capping. In its standard configuration, the machine is equipped with a screw cap capping unit, consisting of a capper feeder, a cap chute, a pick-and-place device, and a capping head. This capping unit can be replaced with a seaming unit or another system. An additional capping unit can be added for the use of dropper caps, dispensers, or rubber stoppers. The filled and capped bottles leave the machine on the outfeed conveyor.
