Process Description
- Empty containers are transported via a feed belt to the starwheel. At the infeed, there is a sensor for detecting the container. In the first station, they are filled with powdered material. The machine can be equipped with 1 or 2 filling stations. Screw feeders are used for filling. Other types of dosing systems are also available (volumetric fillers, multihead weighers, etc.).
- The next step after filling is capping. In its standard configuration, the machine is equipped with a screw-cap capping device, consisting of a cap feeder, a cap chute, a pick-and-place unit, and a capping head. This capping device can be replaced by a twist-off, press-on, or another system. The filled and capped containers leave the machine on the outfeed conveyor.
