Capping Machines
solid construction using stainless steel
high precision and repeatability of the closing torque
quick conversion to other bottle & cap sizes without using tools
in case of the linear machine no need of interchangeable format parts to converse to other bottle shapes
top-quality components (SMC pneumatics, Siemens control systems and panels, Lenze servomotors)
interconnection with other machines in the packiging line
system of sensors controlling the presence of the cap on the container, in the rails, control of aligning of the neck before capping, presence of foil in the caps etc.
interchangeable parts for various formats available

Frequently asked questions about capping machines
What is an automatic capping machine and what is it used for?
An automatic capping machine is an industrial packaging system designed to automatically place and securely tighten caps, lids, or closures onto containers like bottles, jars, ampoules and vials or canisters. Unlike semi-automatic versions, these machines require minimal human intervention, handling the entire process from feeding the caps to verifying the final seal.
What are the fundamental differences between our capping machines?
- CAPLINE CN is a linear capping machine for the automatic capping of standard bottles or canisters with screw or press-on caps. It is characterised by high flexibility with different formats and low acquisition costs.
- CAPLINE ROT is a fully automatic rotary capping machine with continuous carousel movement for high-speed applications with high torque and high performance. It offers higher accuracy and better handling of various types of caps.
- CAPLINE DYNAMIC is an automatic capping machine with a movable head that moves with the bottle during the capping process.
- CAPLINE PMP is a semi-automatic machine for capping all types of bottles with spray and pump attachments (so-called trigger caps).
For which containers are our capping machines suitable?
Our capping machines are used to place and securely tighten caps, lids, or closures onto bottles, canisters, cans, jars, ampoules or vials.
Which caps can be sealed with a capping machine?
Our capping machines are closing screw-on or press-on caps, twist-off and pilfer-proof closures, and trigger caps with spray and pump attachments. In addition, we also have equipment for sealing aluminum foil inserts inside lids to the necks of containers.
What is the difference between linear and rotary capping machines?
Linear capping machines work in a straight line. They are characterised by high flexibility in adapting to different formats and low acquisition costs. However, their speed is lower (up to 1500 bottles/h). Rotary capping machines utilises a continuous carousel movement for high-speed applications with high torque and higher output (up to 6000 bottles/h). This enabled higher accuracy and better processing of different cap types.
What are rotary sealing machines used for?
Rotary capping machines are primarily designed for capping smaller containers and for capping containers with difficult-to-handle closures (such as low-profile caps). The containers are fed from a conveyor onto a rotary indexing table and moved under the sealing station, where the twist-off cap is fed into the closure head via a pick-and-place mechanism, thereby sealing the container.
How is the capping machine integrated into the filling line?
The capping machine is a standalone unit integrated into the filling plant via an infeed and outfeed conveyor.
