Net Weight Filling Machine APOLLO LPW

Linear weigher filling machines are primarily intended for production facilities where the filling process is monitored and the measured data is archived for further evaluation. These are mainly pharmaceutical and food processing companies.

Filling machines can communicate with a higher-level control system and pass on the measured data. Automatic weighing and filling machines are used for filling containers designed for 0,5 l to 30 l.

Process Description

  1. The containers are conveyed into the machine via a conveyor belt with a plastic or stainless steel belt. Before entering the filling area, they are stopped by a pneumatic inlet gate. As soon as the previous group of filled bottles leaves the filling station, the gate opens, allowing the next group to enter. The inlet gate then closes again. If one or more bottles are missing, the system waits and the filling process will not start.
  2. Once all bottles have been fed in, the filling process begins. As soon as the bottle necks are automatically centred, the nozzles dip into the bottles and open. The filling quantity is measured and dispensed using rotary vane pumps. The fill level can be adjusted via the touchscreen, which allows for quick and easy changes to the volume and dispensing parameters.
  3. Once the filling process is complete, the nozzles close and a drip tray is slid under the nozzles to prevent bottle contamination. The discharge gate then opens and the containers are released from the filling line.
