Rotary Pump Filling Machine APOLLO LP

Rotary Pump Filling Machine APOLLO LP

Rotary Pump Filling Machine APOLLO LP

The linear filling machines with the rotary lobe pump dosing system (Apollo LP) are primarily used for the filling of dense products and products with fruit, vegetable, nut pieces, etc.

The machines find their application in food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries.

The machines can be easily cleaned via a CIP system, making them ideal for hygiene-sensitive operations such as for the production of ketchup and mayonnaise, fruit concentrates without chemical preservatives or for the dairy industry suitable.

One of the advantages of these machines with rotary lobe pumps is the ability to convey material with solid components, such as fruit pieces, vegetables or salads to fill it.

The performance the machine with rotary pumps is for the single-row type between 1,000 and 5,000 bottles per hour and for the dual-row type up to 8,000 bottles per hour.

Machines with rotary vane pumps Series XL3 are also for bottling large volume (20- and 30-litre canisterssuitable.

Process Description

  1. The bottles are conveyed into the machine on a conveyor belt with a plastic or stainless steel belt. Before entering the filling area, they are stopped by a pneumatic infeed gate. As soon as the previous group of filled bottles leaves the filling station, the gate opens and allows the next group of bottles to enter. The infeed gate then closes again. If one or more bottles are missing, the system waits and the filling process will not start.
  2. Once all bottles have been fed in, the filling process begins. As soon as the bottle necks are automatically centred, the nozzles dip into the bottles and open. The filling quantity is measured and dispensed using rotary vane pumps. The fill level can be adjusted via the touchscreen, which allows for quick and easy changes to the volume and dispensing parameters.
  3. After the filling process is complete, the nozzles close and a drip tray is slid under the nozzles to prevent contamination of the bottles. Subsequently, the discharge gate opens and the bottles are released from the filling system.
